We can take care of all your car tune up needs. A tune up is no more than a combination of preventive maintenance, performance analysis and adjustments.
Our skilled auto mechanics will:
- Replace spark plugs and spark plug wires
- Replace the air filter, fuel filter, and PCV valves
- Clean the fuel injector
When we do a tune up, we also check the ignition, intake manifold, compression, timing, idle, belts, and the vehicle computer. If we find wear and tear on any of these items we will suggest replacement. We prioritize items and provide an estimated life expectancy if possible.
Tune Up for Smooth Auto Operation
The tune up process helps keep the engine running optimally. Having clean filters, versus deteriorating/clogged parts, will increase efficiency.
Imagine trying to run with a dirty or clogged mask on your face? You have to work harder, expend more energy and fuel to bring air into your lungs. This is not effective for you and imagine the extra burden on your engine.
A new fuel filter will keep contaminants from entering the engine. The various engine components must run in synch to create optimal performance.
We recommend that you follow the specific guidance from the vehicle manufacturer. These are normally done at 50,000-100,000 mile intervals or based on your daily driving conditions.
Know When It Is Time for a Tune Up
Should you experience any of the following symptoms below we recommend a visit to the auto repair shop.
- Illuminated Check engine or other lights
- Illuminated oil light or low oil pressure indicated
- Hard to start
- Inability to accelerate, stalling or hesitation
- Excessive gas consumption
- Increased emissions
- Unusual noises or odors occur
While a check engine light being on is no need to panic, putting off the visit for days, weeks, or months will only increase the potential damage to the engine. That will cost you more money in the long run. We're here to make sure that doesn't happen.
